Gloria Otieno
Gloria Otieno is an impact-driven policy specialist with over 21 years of progressive leadership in research, policy analysis, and program implementation across Africa, Asia, and South America. She is recognized for advancing seed system development, particularly farmer-managed seed systems, community seed banks, sustainable agriculture, biodiversity conservation, climate change adaptation, and gender-inclusive development through innovative, evidence-based strategies. Gloria leads strategic partnerships for seed system development, including collaboration with the African Seed and Biotechnology Platform and the Southern African Development Cooperation (SADC).
