Angie L. Sánchez

Angie Lorena Sánchez is a professional in Government and International Relations with a Master’s in Education who works to ensure that science, policy, and education generate meaningful impact on community wellbeing. She develops participatory educational programs, conducts policy analysis, manages international projects, supports fundraising, and leads communication strategies that position scientific work and international cooperation initiatives, strengthening their visibility and influence. Her experience with IOM, the International Vaccine Center, and the Colombian Red Cross includes supporting programs that expand access to protection, health, and humanitarian services. At the Alliance Bioversity International and CIAT, she works on sustainable value chains in Africa and Colombia through policy analysis, engagement, project management, and strategic communication to help restore and protect landscapes while strengthening the livelihoods and resilience of farmers.
