Quoc Nguyen

Quoc graduated with a MSc in Human Ecology at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Belgium). After his Master’s, Quoc worked as a researcher in the field of natural resource management and community development. Since 2019, Quoc has been a PhD candidate at Wageningen University & Research, The Netherlands. His PhD research focuses on the cross-level linkages between local food practices and global and national agri-food transition dynamics.
Quoc’s research interests cover the dynamics of socio-ecological and socio-technical systems, including agri-food systems. He would like to apply multidisciplinary research skills and participatory approaches to co-create sustainable and just food system outcomes.
Quoc will work under supervision of Ms. Huynh Thi Thanh Tuyen, Research Team Leader, Food Environment and Consumer Behavior from September 4, 2024. His regular work location is Hanoi, Vietnam.
