George Amahnui

Amahnui George is an Environmentalist and Environmental Activist. He holds a master’s degree in Natural resources and Environmental management at the University of Buea in Cameroon and is currently a PhD fellow in the same program and institute. He is passionate about transitioning food and agricultural systems to sustainably adapt and mitigate the impacts of climate change.

Amahnui is skilled in environmental research in general, soil greenhouse gas emissions and carbon sequestration research in cropland ecosystems, project planning, implementation and reporting, data analysis and project Monitoring and evaluation among others. Amahnui's work has earned him awards like the Climate, Food and Farming, Global Research Alliance Development Scholarships awards (CLIFF-GRADS) in 2019, Tony Elumelu Pan African Entrepreneurship award in 2019 and a graduating Master’s degree award in Natural Resources and Environmental Management at the University of Buea in 2018.
