The Alliance at Rome Nutrition Week 2026
Hosted by Rome-based UN agencies (FAO, IFAD, and WFP), Rome Nutrition Week will take place from 25 to 28 May 2026 at FAO headquarters in Rome and online. Under the theme “Shaping the Future of Joint Nutrition Action in a Changing World,” the event will identify practical pathways to accelerate nutrition progress in a rapidly evolving global context.
With more than 2 billion people still unable to afford a healthy diet, and nutrition challenges persisting alongside food insecurity, the need for stronger collaboration across sectors, institutions, and governance levels has never been more urgent.
Building on the 2025 edition focused on coherent policy and action for better nutrition, Rome Nutrition Week 2026 takes collaboration a step further, from dialogue to more coordinated, actionable solutions.
Structured around four daily thematic areas, the week will bring together governments, UN agencies, research institutions, civil society, and development partners to explore evidence-based policies, innovative partnerships, and practical solutions that advance nutrition outcomes while strengthening sustainable food systems.
