Over the last year, Alliance of Bioversity and CIAT staff authored 1,074 publications which included: 335 journal articles, 129 policy and research briefs, plus 45 books, manuals, and guides. In commitment of our mission to make our research freely available, 86% of our total outputs were open access.

Below is a selection of some of the year’s most discussed publications (according to Altmetric Score, which factors the volume, sources, and authors of mentions), as well as those most referenced by other scholars and researchers (including previous years’ publications with accumulated citations). We encourage you to explore the full range of Alliance publications further through our website’s search function.
