Patricia Amankwaa-Yeboah

Dr. Patricia Amankwaa-Yeboah is a Systems Agronomist and Soil and Water Engineer specializing in climate-smart agriculture, sustainable farming systems, digital agriculture, and agricultural water management. She currently serves as a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT, where she contributes to the development and scaling of integrated agronomic solutions, soil health initiatives, digital agroadvisories, and climate-resilient farming systems across Ghana and West Africa. Her work focuses primarily on SFP's Areas of Work (AoW) 3 and 5, supporting agronomic research, stakeholder engagement, and the co-development of scalable innovations for smallholder farming systems.

Before joining the Alliance, Patricia was Principal Research Scientist and Head of the Agricultural Engineering and Transport Division at the CSIR-Crops Research Institute (CSIR-CRI), Ghana. She has also served as a technical consultant to the World Bank, CIAT, Solidaridad, and Ghana's Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources, supporting climate-smart agriculture, sustainable mechanization, digital decision support systems, and natural resource management.
