Justus Ochieng

Justus Ochieng is a Research Team Leader at the Alliance of Bioversity International and International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT). His research focus is on livelihoods analysis, program impact evaluation, technology adoption, Climate change and strengthening seed systems and partnerships.  

Prior to joining CIAT, he worked for World Vegetable Center in Tanzania, World Food Program (WFP), Tegemeo Institute of Agricultural Policy in Kenya and International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) in Burundi.  

Justus holds a PhD degree in Agricultural Economics from University of Kassel, Germany and a Masters’ degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics from University of Pretoria, South Africa and Egerton University, Kenya.
