Hang Thai

Hang Thai is a Senior Research Associate in the Food Environment and Consumer Behaviour team, with the Alliance of Bioversity International & CIAT in Hanoi, Vietnam. Hang has a background in consumer research and community-based participatory research for development. She has a BA in Business Management from University of Newcastle, Australia and a MSc in Disaster Management from University of Auckland, New Zealand.

Her current work focuses on food environment, consumer behaviour, and food system policies to foster both supply and demand/ consumption of sustainable healthy diets from sustainable food systems.

Her current interests are in food system laws and policies, and social inclusion in the food systems, especially around gender related issues and inequality.
