Haley Zaremba

Haley Zaremba joined the Alliance’s gender team in 2020. Her research on inclusive agrifood systems and innovations focuses on women’s empowerment, agroecology, value chains, and water-energy-food-ecosystems nexus thinking. She has contributed to diverse CGIAR research programs and projects, including the CGIAR GENDER Impact Platform, and the CGIAR Initiatives on Gender Equality and on NEXUS Gains.

Haley holds a Master’s in Food Studies from the American University of Rome and a Bachelor’s in Media Studies with minors in Gender and Sexuality Studies and Journalism. She has years of experience with qualitative research approaches, and writing for both scientific and non-scientific audiences. She is based in Colorado, USA.
