I am a chemist and chemical technologist, I am part of the cassava postharvest team of the alliance, throughout my career I have acquired knowledge in physical-chemical analysis in food, especially in analysis of antinutrients naturally present in cassava roots such as phytic acid and linamarin.
I have been working at the Alliance of Bioversity and CIAT since 2019 and in this time I have had the opportunity to understand the challenges associated with postharvest quality of cassava. Professionally, I am characterized by my analytical skills and attention to detail, my goal at the Alliance is to continue contributing to the field of postharvest quality and food safety, applying my knowledge to improve the crops we work with.
