Alexander Buritica

Alexander Buritica is a Senior Research Associate in the Performance, Innovation, and Strategic Analysis for Impact and the Low-Emissions Food Systems teams at the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT. Buritica holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Universidad de los Andes. His current research interests center on the interaction between agricultural value chains, productivity, and technology adoption at firms and farm producers. He has been conducting and leading fieldwork in Colombia, Perú, and Nicaragua, on crops like coffee, cacao, and livestock.
