Launching the Ecosystem Services and Resilience Framework

Led by Bioversity International scientists and a group of experts, the Ecosystem Services and Resilience Framework will guide all activities of the CGIAR Research Program on Water, Land and Ecosystems. 

Led by Bioversity International scientists and a group of experts, the Ecosystem Services and Resilience Framework that will guide all activities of the CGIAR Research Program on Water, Land and Ecosystems (WLE) is now out. 

Bioversity International scientist Sarah Jones tells us a bit more about what the Ecosystem Services and Resilience Framework is, what it brings to the table, how it contributes to development goals and introduces a few examples of how to actually put the framework to action.

One important message is that people and agricultural systems do not only benefit from ecosystem services, but can provide and enhance these services through better management. Will WLE scientists and partners succeed in doing so?
