The role of forests and trees to help sustainably feed the growing population is hampered by cultural factors and limited data, among other issues, according to a recent paper co-authored by Bioversity scientists and partners and highlighted by Thomson Reuters. 

"Promoting behavioural change to encourage the consumption of foods often considered inferior remains a big challenge,” says Barbara Vinceti, Bioversity International scientist and lead author of the paper.
