Polygon map of soil units with functional properties for Mexico (1:250000)
https://hdl.handle.net/10568/93234
Abstract
This 1:250000 soil map of Mexico is the result of a combination of three INEGI open-access datasets: •The Series II soil units’ vectorial map is a nationwide polygon map delineating the soil groups at scale 1:250 000. It uses the World Reference Base for Soil Resources (WRB) to classify soils, and holds 63794 polygons.
•The Series I soil profiles data is a compendium of 9537 soil profiles collected between 1980 and…

A geographic distribution database of the cassava whitefly complex (Hemiptera, Aleyrodidae) and their associated parasitoids and hyperparasitoids (Hymenoptera)
https://hdl.handle.net/10568/101640
Abstract
Whiteflies (Hemiptera, Aleyrodidae) are represented by more than 1500 herbivorous species around the world. Some of them are notorious pests of cassava (Manihot esculenta), a primary food crop in the tropics. Whitefly populations are regulated mainly by Hymenopteran parasitoids. Despite their importance, neither the distribution of…

Abstract
By 2013, there was remarkable achievement in Malawi in terms of bean varietal output, but information on farm level use of these varieties, their contribution to bean productivity and household food security was lacking. An ex-post study was conducted to assess the extent of adoption of improved bean varieties and their associated impacts on food security among the adopting bean growing households. The study also generated…

Replication Data for: 4-km gridded historical and future scenarios for sea level rise in Honduras

Abstract
Future sea level rise change scenarios for Honduras were derivate from 10 General Circulation Models (GCMs) of the CMIP5 projections for two Representative Concentration Pathways (RCP’s; RCP 4.5 and 8.5; IPCC, 2013) and the time-series 2006-2100. We resample the projections at 4-km and aggregated into the three future periods named as 2030s (Climatic normal –CN- for 2026 to 2045), 2050s (CN for…
