Climate Action: Social Protection Within Reach for Filipinos in Grassroots Communities
The Alliance is engaging with CLIMBS Life and General Insurance and IBISA (Inclusive Blockchain Insurance using Space Assets) Network in enriching agricultural insurance through partnerships and by working together with different stakeholders in the agricultural sector to bring resilience for farmers and agribusinesses. The Alliance is providing the climate information component to tailor seasonal climate forecasts designed to reduce risks of 3,500 farmer members of 10 agricultural cooperatives in the Philippines.
