Sylvia Monica Kalemera
Sylvia Monica Kalemera brings over 15 years of extensive experience and deep knowledge of agricultural research and value chain development across multiple African countries, with a specific focus on common bean systems. Her work has centred on capacity building, monitoring, learning and evaluation (MLE), and geospatial analysis. Throughout her career, she has trained and engaged agricultural researchers, district extension officers, and partners from NGOs and small- to medium-sized seed enterprises in demand-led seed systems, particularly the off-taker-led model. This approach has enhanced seed uptake and improved project outcomes across African nations. The insights and best practices generated from these initiatives have been transformed into knowledge products and disseminated through project reports and digital communication platforms.
