Stephanie Jaquet is an interdisciplinary scientist and project leader in the Climate Action team. She is based in the country office of Senegal in Dakar. She works on several aspects linked to climate smart agriculture and adaptation to climate change. Her work focuses on West Africa and on investment, adaptation, policy and climate security. Previously to this assignment, she worked at the University of Bern (Switzerland) based in Laos on several projects related to agriculture, more specifically gender in agriculture as well as sustainable land management across several countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America (Bolivia). She holds a master from the University of Lausanne in Environmental Geosciences and a PhD from the University of Bern in Geography and Sustainable Development with a focus on migration and land management in Nepal.
