Osana Bonilla-Findji

Osana is Senior Scientist working in two research areas: Climate Action and Food Environment and Consumer Behavior. With a Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences she has more than 15 years of experience in coordinating interdisciplinary and multi-scale programs addressing the environmental and social challenges brought by climate change impacts on agricultural systems across Africa, Latin America and Asia.

She focuses on acting as a bridge builder and facilitator to foster partnership development, synergies, integration and cross-fertilization between different thematic groups and program components to foster learning and innovations leading to improve food system and agricultural sector planning.
Her expertise includes participatory approaches, development of metrics and decision support tools to mainstream and tackle climate-smart agricultural outcomes.

Based in Cali Colombia she acts as a Theme 2 Science Officer, for the World Bank program Accelerating Impacts of CGIAR Climate Research for Africa (AICCRA)
