Natalia Matiz-Rubio
Natalia Matiz-Rubio is an industrial and environmental engineer with extensive experience in sustainability consulting and climate finance across the private sector, as well as in projects supported by funders such as the World Bank and the German Agency for International Cooperation. She combines socio-economic and environmental expertise with a strong network of value-chain actors to holistically assess the impacts of investments in climate change mitigation and adaptation.

A further focus of her work and research is the definition of indicators aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for integration into monitoring, reporting, and verification (MRV) tools, as well as the development of impact measurement and management (IMM) frameworks to assess investments in African Agri-SMEs.
She is the founder of the Colombian-German Science and Innovation Network BioGeCo, established with funding from the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research and supported institutionally by the Colombian Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation.
