Manjari Singh

Dr. Manjari Singh is an Agrometeorologist based at Dakar, Sénégal. Her area of expertise includes synthesizing quality agro-climate data, modelling crop growth and their diseases using statistical approaches, developing digital innovations to provide large-scale climate and agro-advisory services, etc. Her research interests are focused on enriching data (crop, weather, and biotic stressors including pests, diseases, and weeds) at national and sub-national scale, and simulate crop growth and potential losses caused by the biotic and abiotic stressors, individually and in combination, using a range of modelling approaches to understand, analyze, and predict weather-crop-stressor interactions. She earned her bachelor's degree in Agriculture from GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (Pantnagar, India), a master’s degree in Agricultural meteorology at Odisha University of Agriculture & Technology (Bhubaneswar, India) and a PhD in Agrometeorology at GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (Pantnagar, India).
