Joshua Philp
Dr Joshua Philp is a Scientist with the Tropical Forages Program, specializing in production systems research. Drawing on over 14 years of multi-disciplinary experience and expertise at the intersection of plant, soil, livestock and social science, his research provides the knowledge needed for smallholder forage systems in the tropics to be more productive, profitable, sustainable, inclusive and resilient. He has conducted research projects in Australia, Cambodia, China and Laos, and published peer-reviewed research articles on diverse topics including forage adaptation and selection, sustainable fertilizer use, soil microbiomes and youth participation in agriculture.
Joshua is currently based in Vientiane, Laos.
