Jane Girly Cuerdo Balanza

Jane has been working in research for over ten years now with a wide range of experience in the application of Geospatial Analysis(GIS) tools and data management to various topics in agricultural and environmental research.
These topics include; cropping system characterization, development of spatial databases (i.e. cropping calendar, climate risk vulnerable areas, and livelihood zones), packaging of database to support the development of climate agro-advisories, mapping of areas at risk to climate-related stresses (i.e. drought, flood, and other sea-based hazards), and mapping of climate change impacts and responses, and other socio-economic data to characterize the area of interest.
