Irene Luce Parisi

Irene Luce Parisi is an agronomist working as Technical Specialist in the Agrobiodiversity unit at the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT in Nairobi. She supports a development project that promotes Neglected and Underutilized Species across Eastern and Southern Africa.

Passionate about Regenerative Agriculture and Agroecology, she has conducted research on soil, climate, integrated pest management, and food systems with institutions such as CIFOR, CSIRO, and Wageningen University. She has also provided technical assistance for large-scale Regenerative Agroforestry projects in Latin America and the Caribbean and contributed to European carbon farming initiatives.
