Francisco Sanchez Chamorro

Francisco is a biologist specialized in biotechnology, with a background in research and project development. His areas of expertise include in vitro; ex vitro (greenhouse); field tissue culture; the handling of molecular techniques such as PCR, qPCR, Western Blot, Southern Blot, ELISA, sequencing, protein production through recombinant bacteria and gene expression. Francisco also works on genetic transformation in cassava, rice, bean and cacao crops using Agrobacterium T (LBA4404, EHA105 and AGL-1) and particle bombardment.
