Environmental scientist (PhD), biologist, molecular ecologist, Ecuadorian-Swedish, Swiss-based, experienced with and working with a diversity of methodologies and solutions to conserve, restore, monitor and enable co-benefits from forest landscapes globally - particularly in the tropics and subtropics.  These solutions are based on scientific knowledge and seizing opportunities across market and financial-dynamics opportunities, evolving policies, development of technology and innovation, and collaborative integration with other players across service providers and existent frameworks.  

Fidel works with MyFarmTrees platform, scaling its impact, implementation and partnerships. MyFarmTrees is an operating, science & evidence-based digital platform that provides solutions for recommendations, monitoring, market access and digital payments to farmers in local smallholder communities restoring forests.
