Erik Delaquis

Erik Delaquis is a researcher with experience in agronomy, agrobiodiversity, agroecology, and seed systems. Erik has over 15 years of experience in agricultural research, including three years in West Africa, seven years in Southeast Asia, and management of a four year research program in South America.
Erik works from the Lao PDR country office of the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT as Research Team Leader for sustainable cassava seed systems, contributing to the Genetic Innovation and Crops for Nutrition & Health research themes.
He is author of over 25 research articles and book chapters, and co-author of Toolboxes for working with seed systems of vegetatively propagated crops and in-situ conservation.
Erik has a M.Sc. in Plant Science from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and is a Ph.D. candidate at Wageningen University and Research in the Netherlands.
