Carlos Fernando Quiros Campos

Twenty-six years of experience in ICT in different capacities ranging from technical to managerial with over nineteen years supporting CGIAR’s international agricultural research for development. Active involvement with ICT for research in numerous successfully implemented multi-country projects in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Career interests have evolved from implementing tasks related to agricultural software programming, to more managerial activities in leading a research data management group and providing leadership and strategic guidance on Digital and Data Science for Research. Working for the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT since 2017. Experience includes successful assignments for numerous organizations like CGIAR Systems
Organization, CABI, CSIRO, CCAFS and CIAT; a long-term posting in Kenya (thirteen years with the International Livestock Research Institute); two years as an advisor on ICTs for other organisations in East Africa and three years with the private sector in Costa Rica.
