Carlos Eduardo Gonzalez Rodriguez

Carlos Eduardo is a PhD candidate in Environmental Sciences, with a master’s degree in economics and an economist. He likes to think that economics should be integrated with other sciences and knowledge, such as climate, agricultural, environmental, computational, etc.
His work includes impacts of climate change on agricultural systems in South and Central America, Africa, and Asia; studies in strategic foresight and integrated modeling, analysis and development of technological applications on food systems in Colombia, monitoring of the network of actors and development of environmental technologies in the Colombian-Peruvian Amazon and involved in the protection of the Brazilian Amazon.
He is interested in understanding how institutional networks operate, especially in environmental and technological issues, as well as studying the different components of the food system.
