Berta Ortiz Crespo

Berta is a user experience and human-centered design specialist, with a strong focus on digital tools for agriculture. She has extensive experience working closely with end-users, including farmers, extension agents, public and private institutions. Her goal is to understand and recognize the importance of the users’ contexts and needs to develop successful tools. Berta has been directly involved in developing new digital tools and improving existing ones, with a strong emphasis on usability. Throughout her work, she has explored different stages of the design cycle, including user research, interface design, prototyping, and testing of digital products.

Berta has an interdisciplinary background in Biology, Integrated Natural Resources Management, and User Experience Design and Evaluation. She enjoys working with diverse teams, learning from different perspectives and integrating innovative and inclusive approaches into the development of new digital services.
