Angela Navarrete-Cruz

Angela is a post-doctoral researcher for the CGIAR Agroecology Initiative. Her work focuses on the internal governance and functioning of living labs established in eight different countries (Peru, Senegal, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Tunisia, Laos, India, and Burkina Faso) for co-designing agroecological innovations.
In 2022, she received her Ph.D. in Agricultural Science from the University of Hohenheim, Germany. She has been a Project Manager, Consultant, and Researcher in various organizations. Her research interests include the governance of sustainability processes/transitions in agriculture, agroecology, and the intersections between agriculture and intrastate conflict.
