Alessandro Craparo

Dr. Craparo’s research focuses on climate change, complexity analysis, climate security, and global environmental change. Leading a diverse team of data analysts and scientists, he develops innovative approaches to address these broad challenges. He has published extensively in high-impact journals (Impact Factor >15) and authored numerous working papers, UN frameworks, and policy briefs.  He has served as co-investigator on several large, multinational research projects at the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT and has held the role of principal investigator since early in his research career. In addition, he has designed and led several research expeditions across Tanzania, Ethiopia, Uganda, Mozambique, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Vietnam, presenting his work on various platforms, including TEDx and Falling Walls.
