Adams Kwaw

Adams is the Lead Environmental and Social Safeguards Specialist coordinating the assessment and management of environmental and social (E&S) risks and impacts on the AICCRA Project and ensuring the project compliance with relevant national environmental laws and the World Bank Environmental and Social Standards. In so doing, Adams assist Project Teams at both regional and country level in preparing and implementing E&S instruments approved by the World Bank for the mitigation of adverse E&S risks and impacts.

Prior to this role, Adams worked with the World Bank Office in Ghana as an Environmental and Social Development Consultant where he oversees to the assessment and management of environmental and social risk and impacts on the Bank’s funded projects in Ghana, Liberia, and Sierra Leone. He further worked to ensure social inclusion, and sustainable outcomes of such projects. Adams obtained his degrees from University of Development Studies in Ghana and University of Antwerp in Belgium.
