Women and agricultural biodiversity are closely linked. Every day, women grow, harvest, cook, buy or sell a diversity of food and agricultural products to sustain their families, contributing to the conservation of agricultural biodiversity while feeding the world.
Share with us a story of a woman (or women) who is contributing to agricultural biodiversity in some way. Take a photo of her cooking a traditional dish, selling food at the market, harvesting wild herbs or growing vegetables on a farm. Tell us why these actions are special and get featured on Bioversity International’s social media channels. Photos with the most votes will have the chance to win a fantastic Digital SLR photo camera!
