Climate information services in the Mekong River Delta, Vietnam: A human-centered design approach. Interview guide for user persona development

This guideline supports the data collection process for the study "Rice Farmers’ Use of Climate Information in the Mekong River Delta, Vietnam: A Human-Centered Design Approach." It provides a comprehensive framework for conducting in-depth interviews with individual farmers, focusing on persona development. The objective is to gain insights into farmers' needs, values, aspirations, and pain points within the context of their lives. These insights inform the creation of personas that represent the characteristics, goals, attitudes, and behaviors of specific farmer groups. The personas are developed based on data collected through qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-method approaches, ensuring they are grounded in real-world experiences. This methodology enables a deeper understanding of how rice farmers interact with climate information services, supporting the design of tailored interventions and tools.
