Venture-Out Events: Taking on Ag-Tech Transfer with Frontier IP
Join us on Tuesday 18 April, 3:30 – 4:30PM CEST, when Venture-Out Events takes on Tech Transfer with CEO Neil Crabb of Frontier IP. Together with experts including A4IP’s Venture Builder Expert Nekesah T. Wafullah (Alliance/CGIAR), we will explore pathways for research valorization showcasing the success stories of collaborative IP commercialization from Frontier IP; drawing lessons on how to proactively source innovation for spinouts, provide early commercialization and industry support, build an ecosystem of partners, and successfully bring innovations from lab to market.
Venture-Out Events are a series of interactive webinars organized by the Accelerate for Impact Platform (A4IP): a venture space that builds on CGIAR’s legacy of Research and Innovation to co-design, accelerate and fund science-based innovations to address some of the world’s most pressing challenges at the nexus of agriculture, environment, and health. Guests from the innovation ecosystem including leading startups, ventures, and tech transfer experts showcase their success stories of bridging research ideas from lab to market. Venture-Out aims to encourage learning and connection amongst innovators, highlight synergies and pathways for value creation with CGIAR research, and further inspire the entrepreneurial mindset and market-oriented approach among CGIAR’s scientists.
