The Alliance @ the Bonn Climate Change Conference (SB58)
The Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT will attend with CGIAR the Bonn Climate Change Conference SB58, taking place in Bonn (Germany) in June 2023.
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
SB58 represents a significant milestone as it convenes all Parties to the UNFCCC for the first time since the historic decision on the loss and damage fund and funding arrangements at COP27.
With loss and damage, and the global stocktake taking center stage, the Bonn Climate Change Conference SB58 will provide a crucial platform for Parties, experts, and non-party stakeholders to engage in interactive discussions which aim at identifying challenges, bridging gaps, and scaling up opportunities in the realm of climate change.
The outcomes of these dialogues will help shape up the discussions and set up the thematic priorities of COP28 happening in Dubai towards the end of 2023.
