The Alliance and CGIAR @ the 4th SFS Conference

Emerging from global crises by shaping sustainable, resilient, healthy, and inclusive food systems
The Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT and CGIAR are official partners of the 4th Global Conference of the Sustainable Food Systems Programme, taking place from 24 to 27 April, at the Sheraton Hotel, in Hanoi, Vietnam, and virtually.
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The SFS Conference is co-organized by the One Planet Network’s Sustainable Food Systems (SFS) Programme and the UNFSS Coordination Hub and hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Viet Nam.
The conference is a space for governments, international organizations, civil society, farmers associations and other actors to offer tools and initiatives to support the implementation of the National Pathways for Food Systems Transformation that emerged from the UNFSS, and to discuss how these proposals can be upscaled to accelerate the transition towards sustainable food systems.
The event will contribute to the 2023 Stocktaking Moment of the UN Food Systems Summit follow-up process, by focusing on how food systems need to be transformed to overcome the multiple deeply rooted and interlinked crises of climate, biodiversity, conflict, energy, prices, hunger, malnutrition, and health to achieve the SDGs.
