The Alliance @ Adaptation Futures 2023

Organized by Ouranos, in partnership with the Government of Canada and the World Adaptation Science Programme (WASP), the 7th Adaptation Futures Conference will take place in a hybrid format between 2-6 October 2023, in Montreal (Canada).

The conference will bring together researchers, policymakers, practitioners, industry representatives and communicators to present their work and exchange knowledge on the challenges and opportunities of adaptation.

The Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT sees this event as a unique chance to share its expertise, skills, experiences and research on adaptation with an active network.

About the Conference

The Adaptation Futures Conference seeks to harness insights of marginalized groups worldwide, Indigenous and local communities - particularly from the Global South, and integrate their knowledge into climate change adaptation policies, practices, and global actions for long-term resilience.

The conference accelerates momentum towards the Global Goal on Adaptation and the Global Stock Take and builds on action to implement effective adaptation.
