The 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 79) will be held in New York City (USA), from 10 to 24 September 2024, representing a pivotal moment in the global drive to accelerate progress towards Agenda 2030 and its SDGs. 

Several key events are scheduled during UNGA 79, including the Summit of the Future on 22-23 September and the High-level General Debate from 24-28 September under the theme "Leaving no one behind: Acting together for the advancement of peace, sustainable development, and human dignity for present and future generations." Additionally, from 22 to 29 September, the New York Climate Week will take place, convening political leaders, innovators, and civil society representatives to accelerate climate action and drive progress forward.
