Sacha Senger

Sacha Senger is a Project Manager and researcher with a Master of Science in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of São Paulo, where her work focused on habitat studies and territorial analysis, and an MBA in Project Management from USP/Esalq. She is currently the Coordinator of Socioeconomic Assessment at the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT, where she led the technical team that developed and applied TerraSocio, an evaluation tool for measuring socio-environmental and gender impacts, recently implemented in Rondônia. Previously, Sacha coordinated the implementation of the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) program in Brazil, financed by the U.S. Embassy, fostering female entrepreneurship and leadership. Over a decade, she has managed initiatives across Brazil benefiting indigenous and quilombola youth, women entrepreneurs, and low-income communities. Her work bridges data-driven analysis and participatory approaches, ensuring that local voices inform strategies for sustainable development, agroecology, and forest restoration in the Amazon.
