Rima Hijazi

Rima Hijazi is an Agricultural Engineer and agri-food specialist with extensive experience in SME development, startup incubation, and ecosystem building across Lebanon and the MENA region. She has supported the design and implementation of accelerator strategies, led deal flow and market validation processes, and provided hands-on advisory to agri-food startups to strengthen their operational and financial sustainability. 

During her 4 years as Agri-Food Specialist at Berytech, Rima guided MSMEs and early-stage ventures through incubation, proposal development, market access, and funding acquisition, while designing and delivering capacity-building programs, workshops, and networking initiatives to foster innovation and growth in the agri-food sector. Her work involved close collaboration with government entities, academia, industry leaders, and international partners to build strong, results-driven programs. 

In addition to her program leadership roles, Rima has coordinated high-level regional events and summits focused on sustainability, climate change, and agrifood innovation. 

She combines strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, and product discovery expertise to drive impactful programs that empower entrepreneurs and strengthen the agri-food ecosystem. 

Beyond her professional work, Rima is passionate about exploring new places, traveling, and connecting with nature.
