Agricultural engineer, specializing in Biotechnology and master's degree in plant genetic resources. 34 years of experience in the alliance. I worked in the virology unit and for 17 years I have been the head of CIAT's germplasm health unit. I have experience in the standardization and implementation of serological, biological, biochemical and molecular detection methodologies for plant pathogens. I certify the phytosanitary quality of all the germplasm that the alliance exports and imports and I collaborate permanently with all the programs of the center to obtain phytosanitary certificates before the ICA.
