Casey Tokeshi

Casey is a Research Specialist based in the Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, office since October 2023. As a member of the Food Environment and Consumer Behavior team, her work focuses on policy and governance in food systems. Prior to living in Ethiopia, she worked in the Nairobi, Kenya, office with projects primarily in western Kenya, namely within Kisumu and Vihiga counties. Her work in Kenya centred on food value chains, localisation of food systems, sustainability, and decision-making/self-agency, especially in low-income and traditional market environments.
