Carlos Daniel Zelaya Orellana is a Renewable Natural Resources Engineer with expertise in Agrometeorology. He has a proven track record of utilizing GIS for spatial analysis, climate data analysis, and the development of early warning systems for various crops.
As a climate analyst, he has contributed to the development of an early warning system for coffee. This work has equipped him with a strong foundation in pest and disease management, risk analysis based on crop phenology, climate projection, assessment of climate vulnerability, and the generation of recommendations for climate adaptation on coffee farms.
