The Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT (a CGIAR Center) invites qualified marketing agencies to submit proposals to support the implementation of communication, engagement, and outreach activities under the AgriTech4Egypt: Technological Innovation in AgriFood Sector in Egypt (AID 13162) project.

Scope of work
The assignment covers integrated communication and visibility services over a three (3)-year project delivering a series of three (3) agri-tech innovation challenges in Egypt. The program supports the development, validation, scaling, and deployment of climate-smart, market-oriented agritech startups through structured bootcamps, acceleration programs, mentorship, and investor engagement.
The selected marketing agency will lead the design and implementation of communication, branding, digital content, media relations, and outreach activities to strengthen the visibility and impact of the AgriTech4Egypt project. The assignment includes strategic communications, social media management, multimedia production, stakeholder engagement, event promotion, and dissemination of knowledge products across Egypt and the wider MENA region.
Applicants must demonstrate the following:
- At least 5 years of proven experience in communications, branding, and graphic design
- Strong portfolios supporting development programs, startups, innovation ecosystems, or agriculture-related initiatives
- Technical expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Demonstrated experience in media engagement and public visibility
- Capacity to deliver high-quality outputs within tight timelines
- Access to professional photography and videography services

- Organizational profile
- Proof of legal registration and authorization to operate in Egypt
- Detailed Technical and financial Proposal for delivering the assignments (Sections 3, 4 outlined in the RFP)

The AgriTech4Egypt: Technological Innovation in AgriFood Sector in Egypt (AID 13162) is a three (3)-year project led by the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT (a CGIAR Center), funded by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), and supported by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS). It is endorsed by the Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and implemented in collaboration with the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT), and Agricultural Research Centre (ARC). The project will be carried out through an accelerator or service provider selected via a competitive process and will be supported by a wide network of local, regional, and international partners, including actors of Sistema Italia.
