Strengthening climate-resilient food and nutrition security in Kenya through participatory learning reaches 564,561 people with 37,470 innovation adopters

Between 2022 and 2024, the Ukama Ustawi (UU) and Scaling for Impact Initiatives, with the Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organization (KALRO), Cereal Growers Association (CGA), Africa Conservation Tillage Network (ACTN), and county governments, implemented participatory mother-baby trials in Nakuru, Makueni, and Embu counties, Kenya, to address drought, food insecurity, and malnutrition through climate-smart, nutrition-sensitive, and socially inclusive innovations.
