Seguimiento a las asociaciones: “Construcción de paz medioambiental para mejorar la nutrición y reducir las emisiones en Cauca y Putumayo”

Through field visits, virtual support, and continuous coordination, the project monitored the establishment of demonstration plots, the preparation and application of bio-inputs, and the strengthening of local agronomic capacities across associations in Cauca and Putumayo. The follow-up process included organizational characterization, participatory training workshops, and technical assistance focused on sustainable soil management, biofortified beans, and low-emission agricultural practices. The experience highlights the importance of sustained engagement, flexibility in response to climatic and territorial conditions, and the recognition of farmers’ knowledge to advance integrated approaches that link environmental sustainability, food and nutrition security, and peacebuilding.
