Este documento analiza los modelos de funcionamiento de las Mesas Técnicas Agroclimáticas (MTA) en la región SICA, en el marco del proyecto GENERA+, el cual es financiado por el Banco Alemán de Desarrollo (KFW), y ejecutado por la Unión Internacional para la Conservación de la Naturaleza (UICN) junto con la Secretaría Ejecutiva del Consejo Agropecuario Centroamericano (SE-CAC), con el acompañamiento técnico de la Alianza Bioversity y el Centro Internacional de Agricultura Tropical (CIAT). Mediante la integración de Análisis de Redes Sociales y Cosecha de Alcances, el estudio evalúa su estructura institucional, gobernanza y resultados en Guatemala, Honduras y Panamá. Los hallazgos evidencian modelos diferenciados de articulación y liderazgo, así como avances en la institucionalización de los servicios agroclimáticos, la mejora de la toma de decisiones productivas y el fortalecimiento de la resiliencia, aportando bases para su sostenibilidad y escalamiento regional.

This document analyzes the operational models of the Local Technical Agro-climatic Committees (LTACs) in the SICA region, within the framework of the GENERA+ project, which is financed by the German Development Bank (KFW) and implemented by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) together with the Executive Secretariat of the Central American Agricultural Council (SE-CAC), with technical support from the Alliance of Bioversity and the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT). Through the integration of Social Network Analysis and Outcome Harvesting, the study evaluates their institutional structure, governance, and results in Guatemala, Honduras, and Panama. The findings reveal differentiated models of coordination and leadership, as well as progress in the institutionalization of agroclimatic services, improved productive decision-making, and strengthened resilience, providing a foundation for their sustainability and regional scaling up.
