Learning from applying an integrated approach to addressing challenges at the land use-nutrition-conflict nexus
This document summarizes lessons learned from implementing an integrated approach to land use, nutrition, and conflict in complex rural contexts. Key insights highlight the value of multi-actor coordination platforms, community-led innovation through participatory field labs, and stronger nutrition–agriculture linkages via local procurement mechanisms. The experience also underscores the importance of conflict-sensitive strategies that support territorial stability. Effective implementation relied on flexibility, shared commitment and clear roles among stakeholders, recognition of farmers as co-creators, and sustained cooperation through joint planning, contributing to more inclusive and resilient territorial development processes.
